Last year we teamed up with Enabel and The Engine Room for a two-day #DataGovernanceAfrica Workshop as part of our Monitoring Indoor Climate Extremes with Residents and the Internet of Things action research. Together with research institutions, local government and community members we explored data governance, data mapping, community roles, and the responsible use of data to translate heat monitoring data to decision making climate change policies in Gauteng.

Find out more on how we are engaging with climate extremes in our action research supported by : African Union, European Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium and implemented by The Belgian Agency for International Cooperation – Enabel
