Archives

The Planact Archive captures the organisation’s enduring commitment to empowering marginalised communities across South Africa, with a focus on Gauteng and Mpumalanga. Through impactful initiatives like the Social Employment Fund (SEF) project (2023-2024), which created 1000 job opportunities in informal settlements, and earlier efforts detailed in the 2021/22 Annual Report, such as digital addressing and urban heat monitoring, Planact has consistently driven community participation, equitable resource distribution, and sustainable livelihoods. This archive serves as a testament to our collaborative work with partners, donors, and communities to foster inclusive development and resilient living environments despite challenges like the Covid-19 pandemic and fluctuating support.
