Project Case Studies

From August 2023 to May 2024, Planact’s Social Employment Fund (SEF) project, in partnership with the Industrial Development Corporation and organisations like 1to1 Agency of Engagement and CORC, created 1000 job opportunities across Gauteng’s informal settlements. Focusing on themes such as food security, community safety, and digital addressing, the initiative empowered marginalised communities, enhanced skills, and improved living conditions. This project aligns with national economic recovery efforts, fostering sustainable livelihoods and equitable resource distribution.
